I looked really hard to find a little dirt (read: background) on these cookies, but with no luck. I'm going to make an educated guess and say that these were derived from the traditional chocolate chip cookies by some innovative culinary genius. I know that Peppridge Farms sells White Chocolate Macadamia cookies in a pre-packaged form. I, for one, hate them. Just to be clear, I love the vast majority of Peppridge Farm cookies, but when it comes to these cookies, they're not quite up to par.
According to Wikipedia, these cookies are Mrs.Field's signature cookies.
Costco's Bakery sells AMAZING white chocolate macadamia cookies (boy oh boy, what would I not do to get my hands on their recipe), but they sell a variety pack. And of course, picky ole' me doesn't like Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies.
