Easy Bathure Recipe

Bathure is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of eating chole. You know how macaroni and cheese and peanut butter and jelly go hand in hand? That's how chole and bathure go hand in hand.

It's my favorite thing to order at Indian fast food restaurants and definitely one of my favorite foods. The one thing I don't like--usually--is homemade bathure. For some reason the texture isn't fluffy and the taste is subpar; which is a shame since I prefer homemade chole.

Lucky for me, my mom tried a new recipe which cannot really be called homemade, but it's most definitely made at home! And there's only one ingredient: Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits.

INGREDIENTS
1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

EQUIPMENT
Rolling Pin + Board
Fryer or Wok

DIRECTIONS
1. Thaw each biscuit for 1 hour. This step is crucial: If the biscuits aren't thawed then they won't roll out properly.
2. Take each biscuit and flatten it with a rolling pin forming a thin tortilla-like shape.
3. Deep fry it.
